CG33 - Petals ESB chosen for AGUDU portal

The CG 33 (Conseil général de la Gironde - General Council of Gironde) launched a project to set up a modern administration platform through smart use of free software and new technologies.

This platform will feature IS transversality, services exposition and easy automation of business processes for reduced costs.

To achieve this, the G33 selected several open source components among which Petals ESB for web services setting up, Bonita for processes automation, and Cap Demat for users requests management.

As a first stage for this project, the AGUDU (Application de Gestion Unifiée des Demandes Usagers) portal, realized with Bull, has been launched in 2009 July. It allows citizens to realize administrative procedures online, and offers a strict separation of Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office areas, thanks to its urbanization strategy and functional architecture.

Each citizen using portal services will always know the status of his actives procedures and start new ones online.
